Public Health Religion and Spirituality Bulletin

The Network publishes a biannual open-access bulletin entitled the Public Health Religion and Spirituality Bulletin (ISSN 2689-7024). To register for notifications of the release of new issues, please sign up here (link).

The Bulletin‘s first issue was released in Fall 2019 (link), the second issue in Spring/Summer 2020 (link), the third issue in Fall 2020 (link), the fourth issue in Spring/Summer 2021 (link), and the fifth issue in Fall 2021 (link). The next issue is planned for release in Spring/Summer 2022, and some of its articles will likely appear early online.

Bulletin Description

The purpose of the Bulletin is to connect together those interested in the public health relevance of religious and spiritual factors. The Bulletin is expected to have multiple recurring sections including: links to new public health, religion and spirituality (PHRS) research, upcoming conferences, new resources, and interviews with PHRS researchers and practitioners.

Issues of the Bulletin are expected to appear each Fall and Spring/Summer, and began appearing in Fall 2019. Articles are published open access in both HTML and in PDF format, and complete issues are fully downloadable in PDF format (print subscriptions are not presently planned). When published online in HTML format before being collected into issues, articles may be read by following links in the First Look (Online First) section of the website.
